Which internet browsing program?

So which one do people use?

I used to use Netscape, many moos ago at school, then changed to IE when I went to uni and we got internet access at home.
I tried Mozilla recently, but I thought it seemed like a poorman's Netscape.

Downloaded Opera today and I think it is quite nice to use.

What are the fundamental differences and are there any others I should try?

I use MyIE2 on this computer and Firebird on my laptop, both are very good, quick browsers.

i'd say to use opera v7.14 (with java) because its utterly customisable, no that drainage on RAM looks lovely, has loads of handy little features like an in browser google search engine, mouse gestures and it doesn't hide anything need i say more??

The ad supported version bungs a small advert box at the top right of the browser. That's it.

I use Firebird I have a few extensions on it (tabbed browsing extensions, flash click to view, compact menus, ad blocking scripts).

I also find that being about to setup keywords is very usefull. For example in the address bar i can type: weather placename - and it will give me the weather for that area using the BBC weather site

Nah - its only tiny (see below) - and its funny cos it chages when u vist diffrent pages (ie when i took the pic i had just be on zonelabs site - and now its on "upload your pictures" - because I've just uploaded the below)

- also the popup blocking on firebird is good, but i use opera because its more tab based - ie Alt F4 just closes the top tab, and pages that are scriped t open in a new window open in a new tab (unlike mozilla/firebird etc)

and i like that it rembers all my pages when i close it
etc etc

although the "history" is a bit ad-hock (just a liast i order of veiwing - not sorted at all)
