Unhappy Play.com USB-Dual-PS2-to-PC-Convertor "Need Vista Drivers"

I figure most people settle for using the K/B for playing games and i would say i do too, but for some games it can be easier /more fun using a control pad.

    I purchase this from play.com

and it says "Play.com USB Dual PS2 to PC Convertor XP" and works great in XP, but now i have moved over to Vista 64 it will no longer work

Does any one have this adaptor and know where i could get some Vista drivers or just get to work in Vista?

    Cheers People

Who is it manufactured by? Have you tried searching for specific 64 bit drivers?

These things are pretty generic TBH, i would try drivers for simular products.

Re: Play.com USB-Dual-PS2-to-PC-Convertor "Need Vista Drivers"

Contact Play regarding the issue and avaliability of Vista drivers... Play have always been helpfull with me.

Apart from that as the above post states it probably runs on drivers similar if not identical to other generic products.

I ended up throwing mine away when I moved over to Vista and just bought two xbox 360 pads.

Re: Play.com USB-Dual-PS2-to-PC-Convertor "Need Vista Drivers"

OK have given up on trying to find drivers for this Piss poor product

So I'm just going to get me a new one that states it does work with Vista.

Can any one recommend a Good one that works in Vista and supports vibration feature?

Looked at this one as it can connect up to 2 PS2 controllers and also supports vibration feature ; )

Re: Play.com USB-Dual-PS2-to-PC-Convertor "Need Vista Drivers"

I found this link on an Italian forum but I can't post the link because I haven't posted at least 5 messages....

anyway the manufacturer is www hkems com, there you can find the drivers in the download section.

Anyway this is the direct link for vista 32 bit: www hkems com/files/EMS%20USB%20Joypad2%20for%20Vista%2032.EXE

    bye bye
