Allows RPC over HTTP i.e Outlook over the web without the need for a VPN

The rest are as they say, so not a lot really

I take it that 192.168.1.1 is the ip of there sbs box in this instance?

Small office, only 4 computers including server.

I've got it showing the remote web access login screen if I put /remote on the end of the url, is there anyway to do this without needing to append remote to the end, IIS configuration maybe?

If I just put in the a record url then I get 'HTTP Error 403.6 - Forbidden: IP address of the client has been rejected.'

Still we have remote access, intime for the boss to be away training all next week, so thanks alot people

    That's strange.
I've got Outlook over https set up and don't have those 6000 ports open. Just 443, and it works perfectly :-)

If you put into IE https://<WAN IP ADDRESS>/remote

    what happens? - Still a 403 error?

That works, its only when not putting 'remote' we get the 403.6 error.

    stupid question probably.

Have you run the CEICW wizard to turn on and configure RWW etc?

I was under the impression that you needed to always stipulate the /remote part to access RWW unless anyone can tell me and show me otherwise?

This explains the need for the 6xxx port range

Your right, I'm just being a picky barsteward, next job is sorting out the SSL so my boss can access exchange via his glofish.

After all this faffing around he said to me "now we've (royal we) done it, I can sell it as a service to other bni members", my boss is great at comedy one liners
