Dual Boot System Question.

Just put Vista on my machine and now run a dual boot with XP and it works fine, my question is this;

Do I have to re-install all my software whilst running Vista or can I run it from the XP HDD?

90% will need reinstalling. Anything that is "portable" (ie doesn't rely on registry entries and the like) can just be run from the other disk.

Depends on the application, but the vast majority need to be installed on the OS you booted into e.g. with Registry entries.
