    Nice FTP software

I was looking for a nice free FTP client at work today. Even tho we have a site licence for WS_FTP it's still SHOCKINGLY crap. Anyhow, stumbled upon http://www.smartftp.com/ and it's really rather good

Smart FTP does some stupid multi-connection thing creating two clients at a time. FlashFXP ftw.

I purchased FTPRush, from the guys that make/made UltraFXP I believe. Used it when I'd had enough of FlashFXP, and its the mutts nuts Does everything I want and more, great interface.. not free though.

I'm surprised people still use ftp any more these days, (I appriciate there are some needs for it on occassions) but in times where security is becoming more of a focus, eg: products no longer ship with telnet but ssh instead etc etc ftp is still booming
    It is Inevitable.....

I use BulletproofFTP, but I'll check out SmartFTP.

I just had a flashback to using Kermit, and it's making me feel all nostalgic.

Never been too taken with WS_FTP version 9 seems buggy too.

I prefer FlashFXP. Not pretty but does the job very nicely.
