Now that it's cooling down a bit, and I refuse to put on something heavier than a t-shirt, I think it's time to start folding again under the name Michael-F!

I'm running the CPU SMP client again as the current GPU isn't supported - Vista 64 and it's stable as a rock. If the PC's doing nothing else, temps are down in the low 40's and I'm maxing out on 1500ish ppd

Once i get a new PSU il be bk onto this. Could i get a low power GPU such as a 9600GT or similar and run it independant of my GTX 260 - as you know folding can be quite demanding on the ol' bill.

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
i think im doing about a 1000ppd with a gpu client on win7 x64 and that seems to be very stable
just out of interest if i keep my pc running 24/7 running folding then the card is under constant 100% load provided that cooling is sufficient judging by the fact temps are constant 70C does it do much harm to the card or do i need to give it breaks?
Still chewing away on the 4850
