I need a Linux SMTP server with a virus scanner. POP incoming isn't necessary.
I've spent the whole day trying to get AVG for Linux to work, but it won't have it. I've spend hours chasing up dependancies to get Amavis to work and I'm not happy!
So, an easy one to install would help (ie rpm -Uvh and I'm all done!) In the meantime, if I get AVG going I'll let you know.
Running cc2.1 (redhat-9) btw.

Wow I've nearly got it running. Amavis's make check only fails on 1 of 4 tests now!

Supports most MTAs (Used Postfix Myself), you will need an independant virus scanner such as f-prot (free) to have a/v capabilities. I've used this before and is very good, never missed a virus/spam.

spam assassin and clamshell antivirus cobined with exim are about the defacto standard, but both also work with qmail IIRC
