N-n-n-necrobump!
It's back (not that it went) and it's now owned by LastPass.
There's now a Premium version ($12 p/a) which adds smartphone apps and a few other tools.
kind of moved over to firefoxes built in thing now, but still good to know.

Whats the firefox built in one like?
i`m tempted to use it as I could sync with my mobile as well..
pretty basic, only syncs with firefox browsers unless someone has made a 3rd part app, haven't looked. does the job for me though though.

Hesitant to use the android one as i quite like the cut down bookmarks list i have on my phone, curiosity may get the better of me though!
Edit - worth pointing out that Xmarks and LastPass are actually seperate services at the moment. You cant use your login for XMarks on Lastpass but there is a premium service for Xmarks.
Edit 2 - Last pass is just for basswords, not bookmarks. If you're using chrome or firefox you can sync passwords through xmarks so you dont need both.
I went for premium, i pledged that i would pay so i happily made it even if i done use the android one
