Formatting 80GB External HDD with FAT32

Ive just bought one of those Icy Boxes as reviewd by Hexus, and put a 80gb Seagate drive in, but when i format in the command prompt it says that the drive is too big for FAT32, altho i have had a few drives that were 80gb formatted with FAT32. Does anyone know how to successfully format it with FAT32 ? (needs to be fat32 to be mac writeable)

ah, this is one of microsoft's lively moves, xp will only format fat32 drives of 32gb or smaller.

can you format it with the mac? at the very least you should be able to open a termianl and use mkdosfs /dev/sda
