    Unix Resource Monitor

    What options are there, seems our SCO Openserver 5 box is on a go slow so far this week, wanna have a look at it but dont really know where to start...

    I suppose it really depends on what you're wanting to monitor - "resources" is a bit of a catchall term, but Nagios is pretty much the daddy of monitoring.

    Normal kinda stuff in the same way as windows task manager really, cpu/disk/ram/network usage.

    Yes, you can use the top command.

    I've been fighting for a long time, monitoring unix systems with zabbix, nagios ... and the easiest tool for me has been PandoraFMS. They have a very complete Open library modules where I could find all the commands that are used to monitor the system, and that the way to create modules is directly using system commands. The library is available on their website.
