    MX1000 Back/Forward buttons

Before i installed the software for this mouse the buttons in the thread title worked as they should however after installing the software the buttons no longer work in firefox, (in all other applications that have back/forward functions the buttons continue to work). Why is this the case and is there a fix, im assuming its something to do with firefox interacting incorrectly with the logitech software and vice verse. I dont want to uninstall the software since the other buttons wont work (cruse controle and application switcher)

Never mind. I searched the Firefox forums and came across a solution. In case any one else has this problem follow this link to find out what to do. Basicly you have to set the back/forward buttons as generic under the setpoint software.

It's the one really annoying thing about Logitech mice - the (lack of) features in the driver software. The Microsoft mice support different functions/keypresses depending on what application you're in, which is incredibly useful in apps where back/forward behaviour doesn't really apply. Logitech - no chance.

Thanks mate, just what i was looking for. Got the same problem with my MX1000. Great mouse (probably the best mouse on the market overal), shame about logitechs pants software. Those turbo scroll buttons are the business for forum reading.

Ordered a black one at the same time as my 1000 . Havent got the Skatez but im perfectly happy with the glide it already has on the IceMat. I put the pad surfacers that came with the icemat on the mouse and i have to say i prefered the bog standard pads the mouse has and their less noisy imho.
