Yes (presuming it is XP). Go in to Control Panel, Network Connections and right click on the connection concerned, select properties and deselect the box titled "show icon in notification area when connected" .
It is XP and I have allready done that and it has not worked.
Right click the taskbar -> properties -> click the customize button at the bottom. Find the network icons in the list and change the behavior to 'always hide'.
Try disbaling them in Network Connections. It worked for me on XP.
You've got to have a dream, if you don't have a dream, how you gonna have a dream come true?
Nope none of that worked they are still there. Il just have to uninstall the card drivers.
Have you got the 'hide inactive icons' option ticked ?
Open up your Network Connections, right click a connection you dont want and choose disable.
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.
