It isn't but heres the kick in the nut sack from the european companies that dish out the OEM's with their computers. They have all basically turned around and said they will keep using the version with WMP as they want to offer it to their customers, so as Hex says, it will always sell 0 copies

I think if MS released public betas, they would get far better response for testing. That way the OS can be tested far more vigorously before going RTM.

I got wireless support from go - I was very suprised but I had no complaints from the moment I first booted it up as it detected wireless access points

I think it also had my SATA support, but I put the floppy disc in anyway to be on the safe side.

Beta 2 will be public as with X64, first beta was internal + msdn + selected testers, beta 2 is public

looks like the VX crew have struck and created some malware that uses the MSH console thats in Vista.

Just had a quick play with vista and its not bad, bit slow in places and some of the interfaces are overly cluttered but not a bad start for a beta.

Install process takes a fair while but is very simple to do.
