sp2?3?or4/nf4 mobo /200gb dm 10

just read the 200gb maxtor dm10 16mb need at least sp2? to run[enable large disks]

i also read a default install allows ie to be add/removed
but if you add an SP too bad your stuck with it
i am building a photoshop no web machine

my friend claims there is a selective install?
i would love to install all non web related updates

Install the update.

IE doesn't take any space and is based on Explorer itself.

Delete the shortcuts and ypou'll be fine.

Use nlite to slipstream sp2 onto a disk, you can customize pretty much everything then, and completely obliterate every reference to IE from the system, although its still there, cos its used by explorer and the help system among other things.

Are you using win 2000? just wondering with the questions about sp3 and 4
