The same thing happened to me. I just had to wait. When I changed hosting, for a short period, I would get two different pages (old and new hosting) depending on where I accessed the page from.Originally Posted by XA04

I remember it happening once when I first set it up too, but I just restarted my router and it worked. Tried that a few times and it hasn't worked..
How long did it take for it to change for you?
DNS Propigation can take up to 72 hours.....
Just wait, if others are gettign the holder page aand you are getting the GoDaddy page then its your ISP who have not updated thier records, but thats just a waiting game, its all automatic...
Please do not message me about Scan Free shipping, I no longer work for HEXUS.net
Alrighty, thanks.
I'm not sure - 24 hours? I believe it varies depending on how often the nameservers of your hosting company updates.Originally Posted by XA04

It's not the name servers - the domains have the same NS records and when queried return the same IP address.
This is not a DNS issue but something the hosting company need to change in their web server config - the host header information is currently pointing "adrian-thomas.com" to a default, separate virtual server instead of being an alias for the existing virtual server "ddsecurity.org".
It may be their strange way of administering things - set the server up and then modify it, but it could be that they misunderstood and created a new virtual server instead of just adding the names to the existing one.
Querying my DNS server for "ddsecurity.org" NS records, then querying the name server for the A record of the domain:
Now doing the same for "adrian-thomas.com":nslookup
> set type=ns
> ddsecurity.org
Non-authoritative answer:
ddsecurity.org nameserver = ns4.ikhost.net
ddsecurity.org nameserver = ns3.ikhost.net
> server ns4.ikhost.net
Default Server: ns4.ikhost.net
Address: 72.20.9.34
> set type=a
> ddsecurity.org
Server: ns4.ikhost.net
Address: 72.20.9.34
Name: ddsecurity.org
Address: 72.20.9.36
And if you visit http://72.20.9.36/ you get the message that this is a hosting server and you have to type in the name so it knows which site you actually wanted to visit.nslookup
> set type=ns
> adrian-thomas.com
Non-authoritative answer:
adrian-thomas.com nameserver = ns4.ikhost.net
adrian-thomas.com nameserver = ns3.ikhost.net
> server ns4.ikhost.net
Default Server: ns4.ikhost.net
Address: 72.20.9.34
> set type=a
> adrian-thomas.com
Server: ns4.ikhost.net
Address: 72.20.9.34
Name: adrian-thomas.com
Address: 72.20.9.36
