    Domain Wide Email Signature

    Server 2003 with AD

We want to standardise our email sigs throughout the domain, so how does one setup a global email signature. Which hopefully is clever enough to add the users "Name" to the sig.

    ie.

    <Logged on User>
    Company Name Ltd

    Address1
    Address2
    Address3
    Postcode

    Tel:
    Fax:

we use part of our login script to do that.
the html file is built from AD details.

but thats quite a harsh task as you have to create the outlook profile on the fly too.

for disclaimers , have a look at these.

    this is the email

    Hi,

Just letting you know that you could be sending your emails out incorporating your company header

rather than a blank white screen, without affecting the file size of your emails at all.

Email Templates that have been created in house contain images and can cause all sorts of problems for you the sender, the Email Stationery we produce does not contain the images as all the image content of your template is embedded preventing any rejection from the recipients server and ensuring high speed travel.

The Email stationery we produce for companies , are the same e-letterheads that the large blue chips companies are now implementing (see examples http://e-media-solutions.co.uk/layouts.htm ) we can even animate your logos providing a professional letterhead for your email correspondence to be sent out on while ensuring reliability in transit.

You wouldn't dream of sending hard copy correspondence out without using your company's pre printed stationery, you can now send your emails out on your company's stationery 100% reliably and for a negligible cost.

You provide us with your artwork, either in hard copy or an emailable version (We can lift artwork from your website if you like), we send you a proof, once approved, we provide a personal self installing download which will incorporate your letterhead into your emails, giving all your correspondence a professional identity.

If you would like to know more information or to place your order then use the website links below.

    www.e-media-solutions.co.uk

If it is someone else within your organisation who would decide on this then please forward them this email.

Email letterheads are compatible with Outlook and Outlook Express, the most widely used email software. You can select to use your E-letterhead or de-select whenever appropriate, once installed your E-letterhead can be used whenever you want.

To find out more about this service use our website links below or give us a call on 01782-281387.

    Your Sincerely
their layouts seem to get round the security of ActiveX issues, previously when we've received/sent emails with web hosted pics, they cause problems for the recipient blocking them due to activex etc... how have they done this?

and whats the easiest way to go about setting a simple HTML template up for the company to use on the whole, with the Signature bit being dynamic on the user sending the message? (would like ot include, Name, Job title/Position (non sexual ), telephone number)
