    acronis true image 9.0

I have just brought this program and wanted to ask a few questions about it

    1. I have clicked on "back up" and i backed up the C: drive and it it created an archive .tib file is this file both a archive and partion image? or am i getting this wrong

    2. i backed up the image to my new maxtor onetouch III so if my hard drive went could i stick in a new hard drive then put in the bootable cd connect my external drive and restore the image from the true image back up archive i created?

If you have another HD I recommend you test this sometime, there's nothing worse than a backup which doesn't restore!
