    For linux support, check out the Gentoo forums. Even if you aren't using Gentoo, the level of support and knowledge there is awesome.

    Look at ubuntu 7.10 good support and many bugs worked out but things still get broke thru updates but look at microsoft you can use script installers such as automatix 2 to get most common aplications installed and you can use envy to install vidio drivers there are many special effects that can be used in the advanced effects look at beryl you can make windows burn and rain appear spin your desktop on a cube and also run many windows based games with the proper applications most are free to use but some do cost good luck and have fun by the way you can download from ubuntu there is also fedora7 and opensuse 10.3 all are open source and free or you can pay for support but they all have a large community that gives free support

    Beryl is a dead product and not available in ubuntu 7.10, it has been replaced with compiz fusion.

    Stop pulling old threads and advising people with nosense.
