    exercise for upperarms

    hello guys...

i am a girl in late twenties and have a little bit of cervical problem(occassional pain in the neck, shoulders and forearm) and i have wobbly upperarms.

Is there any exercise for me to tone up my upperarms..............

(I don't want to lift weights nor to exercise with the help of dumbells)

pressups (do them on your knees initially)

do bicep curls with baked bean cans/bottles of water?

as you are wanting to tone you dont want or need heavy weights

    Exactly what YorkieBen says.

You can also move on to things like dips (you can do these between the arms/backs of two sturdy chairs for example) as they really work the triceps and can help tighten-up the underarms if they wobble. As you'll read here and elsewhere you can't spot train to remove body fat so look at your diet, get into a general exercise regime if you can and drink plenty of water too and it'll all add up. Good luck.

    Re: exercise for upperarms

I've got a great exercise for toning the 'bingo wings', I just hope I describe it properly! Hold out your arms in front of you and bend your arms upwards at the elbow, keeping your forearm at right angles to your upper arm. Clench your hands into fists. Now, move your arms out sideways (both at the same time), if you've ever used a 'pec deck' in a gym it's similar to that. Do 5 of these, then bring your (still bent) arms to the front again, and move your elbows upwards for a rep of 5 - still keeping your arms in the right angle position. Do as many of these as you feel you can handle every day, and you'll soon see the benefit. I hope you can understand me from this, exercises are really hard to describe to someone else!

It sounds really simple but believe me, 10 of them will really make your arms ache!

I got one of these Powerbar at Gizoo for the house, and as me & the mrs aren't that tall we just leave it there. Gets a supprising amount of use. It's just too tempting not to hop up & do a few pullups when you're passing.

Yeah, was wondering that too. It doesn't look like a spambot message or anything...
