In europe I am confident that we can beat anyone over 2 legs and If we got to the final I reckon we would have a brilliant chance of winning no matter who we play its just that like you I would rather it wasnt the eam at the other end of the east lancs

    I agree whole heartedly ..

    Re: Champs League draw

cant believe we got chelsea again although i reckon we will beat them especially if the second leg is at anfield.

even if it isn't at anfield all the emotion from the hillsborough anniversary the day after the second will spur us on.

can't see barca getting to the final, they may be good but are pretty poor defensively and chelsea and liverpool can quite easily shut great teams out of a game. and torres or drogba would run rings around their defence

I think this is the fourth time in the last 4 years (2005, 2007, 2008).

Anyhow quite happy with the Man Utd draw, FC Porto should not be too hard and I'm hoping Villareal somehow beat Arsenal.

    Hmmmm.
Barcelona, especially this season have bee a class above anything in Europe.

Do you really believe that Carragher is a match for Xavi?
Or Judas Cole is a match for Messi?

Neither Chelsea or Liverpool (especially), are good enought to shut Barcelona out of a match.

and torres or drogba would run rings around their defence
If Drogba is on a 'non sulk' day and Torres's 'chocolate legs' hold out then they are good for goals.

    Run rings around them??? Nah.

Ah well.....off to Newcastle.......be seeing ya Geordie lads in about 4 hours

    Re: Champs League draw

It must be boring for the players coming up against the same sides every year.
