Need a bench and weights..could do with some advice!

I want to buy a bench and some weights. space is limited, but i have a big shed that should do the job (dont laugh!). i have found a bench that i think looks ok for the money (money is a factor here as well) at argos, it says it has detatchable butterfly, is that one of those things that you put your arms behind and then bring round to the front of your chest?

    theres this
    one as well.

another question, are the weights that you buy seperately for these all the same size inner hole where they fit onto the bars or do they all differ?

open to suggestions as well (dont say the gym ), and ive got around 140 quid to spend in total.

    cheers

Look at your local freeads for secondhand gear. Lots of sports equipment is bought with good intentions and then hardly used, so it's possible to get a bargain.

thanks theo, have you ordered from there before? any idea what they are like?

the reason i ask is that i ordered a rowing machine from simplyfitnessequipment.co.uk and had to get my bank to refund the money to my card after a load of faffing about...so im a bit wary now

I ordered from http://www.fitness-superstore.co.uk/ who have a store in Manchester. I didn't want to lug all the equipment home myself, so I ordered online. If I remember correctly, they deliver from Oldham and ring you on the morning of delivery
