Ever find that when you have spare time you start fiddling with things when perhaps you shouldn't?
Take this weekend, I started fiddling with my... gateway (ha, caught you dirty minded people out!)
It's a Clark Connect box, and I was messing about with DHCP and my wireless access point. Somehow, in doing this, I've managed to ruin my routing table and aren't quite sure how to fix it permenantly.
I spent an hour this morning working out how to get my internet back, eventually doing it. It did teach me one thing though... never take your gateway for granted! Without it, you're up a certain creek without a paddle.
I've decided to upgrade to the new version of clarkconnect in a week's time, and make sure I don't cock it up this time! Still, to be fair this install has gone without error for two years. Can't say that very often!
/Sits on hands.
