    Connection Down

    Hello,

So now and than my connection is down for some seconds on my Thecus N5200B Pro.

This is very annoying while I'm dowloading to my Thecus N5200 harddrives. I can start whole over again with transferring the data.

Can I solve this disconnected problem with the second Ethernet port?

The Thecus is connected into a 3Com 5port Gigabit Switch and the PC is in that same switch. I use the Thecus as a folder in Windows so I can download to it.

    KInd Regards,
    Jordi

Do You have configured dynamic IP on the port You use. There seems to be a problem with that, so may be You try fix IP adress.

    Hi Peter,

My PC and SqueezeBox lose connection with my Thecus.

The PC has a fixed IP ( I don't know if you mean my pc or thecus ).

    Re: Connection Down

    Hi Jordi,
I was talking about the N5200.
I assume the N5200 is connected via the WAN interface to the router - and the WAN has DHCP enabled - so may be You try to give the WAN interface a fixed IP.

    Re: Connection Down

This problem is fixed thanks to Peterfu

The problem was indeed the DHCP on the WAN port, after disabling it was solved.

@Thecus, please fix this in the next firmware.
