n7700 lacking very basic info

hey guys... just got my n7700 and the first impression is... pretty cool, well built, seems like good quality.

however, what i am seeing is that the admin interface lacks some very basic information regarding the system AND the hdds.

Lacks:
-------
system: CPU temp, FAN speed, CPU specs (like the speed, model number, etc), installed RAM information.

hdd: hdd S.M.A.R.T data, hdd temp, hdd fan speed, etc...


I would have thought that these things are very basic. I looked at the demo QNAP interface and WOW!!! Will Thecus ever have these types of things incorporated in their interface???

thank you very much for the link; that is exactly what i was looking for. by the way, after running that report, it tells me that for SWITCH BOARD = ERROR. Do you by any change know what SWITCH BOARD is?

if you go in the webadmin to "memory" -> "harddisks" and click in the column "status" on "OK" you'll see S.M.A.R.T. infos including temperature.

i have firmware 3.00.08b installed.

The switchboard is on the N5200BR models - they have one WAN and 4 or 3 LAN ports - on models without this the ERROR is displayed.
