    Missing Order...

    Good Morning,

Sorry to make this public, but so far I have had zero feedback from any emails I have sent to sales*yoyotech.co.uk regarding my missing order and after two phone calls, I still am none the wiser of the information I requested. The contact I spoke to in your sales team did not have access to the sales order information... ????

Anyway, I placed an order on Friday morning, yet it has not been delivered, but your site says "delivered" on my order.

I was kindly left a message (as I had requested on my order) on my home phone on Friday by a member of your staff telling me it should arrive on Monday or Tuesday. No delivery attempt was made on Monday (I was in all day) and no delivery card has been put through my letter box about any attempt to deliver on Tuesday.

I have no idea what courier you have used despite asking. I phoned you this morning and you said its likely to be City Link, but you are unable to find out at present. ( ??? ) So I phoned City Link and tracked my address and they informed me that no delivery has been sent to that address through them, so another courier must of been used.

I have no tracking number or card.

Your website does NOT show the tracking number either it just shows the order number and your item code, along with my name, address, billing address and order hitory when you select "View".

Please please please can you contact me and tell me what is happening. I do find it quite ridiculous that you are unable to find out even who despatched it or even tell me the tacking number.

Im sure you will do all you can to help, but from my point of view it looks pretty poor.

If you would like me to PM someone my order number I am more than happy to.

    Best regards,

    Paul Andrews

    Order Information

hello there, thank you for your comments regarding your order.
    in reply to this:
your order was shipped out to you on friday as you requested.
when you phoned this morning you where told all the information the shopfloor sales staff have access to, which was the order has been shipped on the 9 march 2007. the sales person then took your details and followed up on your order.
the result was that we had miss our normal courier(city-link) and to get your order out to you had used inter-link express.
because we had use to use a differnet courier, the order details where not automatically updated online, as with city-link.
upon checking with inter-link express, they have tried to deliver on monday but no-one was in, so they left a card.

i have PM you with the tracking number and the contact details for interlink

    thank you

    Thanks for your reply Mark.

There was no card or delivery made at all on monday. If they have left a card it certainly wasnt at my address or with me.

Thanks for finally telling me the courier name.

Shame i had to come here tho to get this info, Surely you could of replied to my emails or gave me that info over the phone...

Perhaps this info could go on the order details ?

I'll let you know if i manage to recover it.

    Thanks again.

    Paul

Despite their lax attitude towards e-mails/PM/forum help,,, my product did arrive as promised. Am well chuffed.

They didn't answer 6/7 e-mails messages,,,, so I had to call to ask which courier they used. Maybe they consider the 0870 number calls as part of their profit ratio ?!

No instructions with the cooler unit - so will ask for advice on appropriate page.

If you can get by with no contact - give 'em a try.

Hi Furkin, no excuses, probably just caught us out, as for the last few days we are undergoing changes inhouse, (counters/display units/pc systems), so we havent been able to take majority of calls, emails, but were working on it to get effecient.

Sort of yes, but I really wasnt happy.

The reason I was keen to order was the fact that the nearest City Link depot to me is less than a mile away, so if I missed the delivery I could easily get it. Yet because they insisted on getting my order out which has missed the city link deadline ( I dont know what time this deadline is, as I played my order at 11am that day ) I had to drive a total round trip of 44 miles to collect it from another courier company they had decided to use. They never left me any such card in the door on the tuesday and I was in the day before and nothing came. (I personally think they never actually tried)

I wasnt informed of this in any such way. I would never had any idea where or who had my item until I posted here asking. I never got any replys from the emails I sent (2) and got little support or any return calls back after my phone call questions which couldnt be answered... IE, where is my item, who despatched it. Id say 50% of it was the fault of the courier and the other 50% down to yoy for not responding quickly enough.

    I wont order again.

I've used the yoyotech store for years. Bought loads of things over the time: hard drivers, a laptop, cpu, psu's, external drive enclosures, software etc. etc.

Never needed to return something until now.

They have all of this on their sales system so they should know I do not cry wolf.

BUT they are being incredibly awkward about sorting out a CPU I returned.

And, they are also not replying to emails.

I will recommend everyone to stay away from them from now on. RMA is a really good test and if they aren't up to it, I'll buy from Scan and Dabs instead.

Hi if42, as we recalled you came into the store with your processor stating that it wasn't working. The processor was checked and no faults were found. You outlined the problems that you were having with your system and the technical department offered to check your system at no cost to you. Your system was checked and your memory failed the system test. We then used OCZ DDR400 memory which worked. You propmly bought the memory only to return it the following day stating that it wasnot working. You were refunded for this and the processor was taken from to be sent to AMD for testing. You also returned your PSU stating that it could be part of your problem. You sent an email to the technical department outlining the problems that you were having with the processor which was passed onto AMD.We are awaiting a decision from AMD as we were unable to find any faults with the processor at any time during the testing that we carried out in our technical department.

    Hi IF42,

It could be as simple as a voltage or timing problem

I used to work in the systems business - selling tens of thousands of units a year - and sometimes you are just plain unlucky with a product

Please be aware that the guys are currently revamping their store like you have never seen before - so you may notice a slight slow down in responses until the builders leave

I am sure that they will be back up and running at full speed soon !

Things have been going so well for them that they needed to expand - which is good for everyone (long term) - right ?

You said yourself that you have had years of trouble free service and have been a loyal customer - coming back time after time...

...so why not forgive these guys a little 'bump' in response times while they are rebuilding ?

    Go on - have a heart !

Any idea what they meant ?

Sure, I was loyal because I'd never had to use yoyotech customer service.

But now I have, I would urge everyone to stay away.

Any company can sell, only the good ones help their customers when the customers need it.
