    Antec Fusion Intel Heatsink Advice

I have just built a new PC and went with the stock fan that came with the Intel E6600 to get things started, but it runs at around 50 degrees idle. I want to replace it but am limited by the height of my Antec Fusion HTPC case.

Does anyone know if the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro will fit in this case (and indeed on the mATX motherboard - Abit Fatal1ty F-I90HD). By the measurements (107 x 96.5 x 126.5 mm) it looks like it will be a tight fit!

If anyone has done this successfully, can you please let me know?

    Cheers,

    Az

not sure if the AC7 Pro would fit, got one in my PC and its pretty huge!

although i recently built a media center with the Antec Fusion case and i used the 'Zalman CNPS7000B-ALCU Flower' which fit a treat and is deadly silent

I had thermalright si128 with a 120x25 mm fan on top in a fusion case. Nice & quiet & kept things cool too

I put my money on Thermalright SI-128:

Already tested that it would fit as alistair stated

So he has got one in his fusion and secondly you can choose any fan you want according to your requirements. For silence you can use this Recom fan:

And for better cooling effecieny (moving more air), you can check this Antec fan:

This fan also gives you the option to control the speed as it has got a regulator to control RPM (3 different RPM settings) and therefore different noise levels aswell according to your preference and comfort.

The amd version of the arctic cooler is too tall for that case. I would imagine the intel version is too.

Artic cooling intel freezer 7 pro

I can vouch for the intel version of Freezer 7 Pro doesn't fit the Antec Fusion.

Anybody want an intel Freezer 7 Pro? Going cheap!

my dads new e6600 is running roughly at that temp on an old LIAN Li case so he had to get a freezer 7 from yoyotech which knocked off a few degrees.
