Graphics card problem?

I purchased a modified Viper from YoYotech last week

The first thing I noticed was a double boot is this normal?

My main issue
Runs games fine but ive noticed if I ramp up the settings on a game like ARMA to VeryHigh the game will freeze randomly anywhere between 5mins and 1/2 Hour of play and sometimes result in the BlueScreen stating

'nv4.dll being in an infinite loop'

sometimes I manage to taskman it off, but the problem happens instantly in any game if I don't boot.

the temp of my Graphic card at desktop is 50 deg ,ive tried removing drivers and installing another but still the same , some advice would be most helpful, thanks.

nv4_disp.dll, the Nvidia display driver, is causing this in combination with Windows XP/2000, grapics cards and motherboard chipsets like Via and Intel and many others.

It closes the RX55 memory register in BIOS. The RX55 register's official name and function is Memory Write Queue (MWQ) timer. Now that might sound nice – a bit of extra performance BUT the procedure fails when overloaded. 3D games and Win XP put too much load on the memory queuing timer procedure. The nVidia new driver exaggerates the problem even more as the driver enables nVidia cards to use even more memory than previous driver versions."

Thanks for a quick reply, i'll try a bios update before trying the patch, though I think it should be upto date.
