    Antec Three Hundred

Looking to buy this case soon to replace my Lian Li PC-7B, mainly because I need the extra hard drive slots.

Does the GTX260 'block' a hard drive slot, or is the case long enough to accommodate the card with a hard drive next to it?

    Thanks,
    Craig.

    Hi Craig,

Looks like it would be a tight fit. I would leave a hard drive out just to be safe.

Ah, OK. Thanks for the reply.

My guess is the SATA cables will get in the way of the graphic card?

    Re: Antec Three Hundred

Why not turn the hard drive around so the cables face the front?

That's quite a good idea, will help neaten up the cabling as well

    Thanks,
    Craig.

Yea. My mate has a 300 and he turned his hard drive around and fed the cables facing the front of the case and around the side. He did a neat job too!! It looks so much better that way.

Only thing to consider if your mounting hard drives that way is the front fans, assuming you fit them, you would need to be very creative to aviod snarling the cables up. Mounted the usual way in my 300, theres less than 1in clearance. For peace of mind I would fit some grills/guards.

    Re: Antec Three Hundred

I have the same case with an EVGA 9800 GTX+ SSC which is a BIG card but I don't know how it compares with yours. Anyway, I would say that the hard disk immediately behind it cannot be removed with the card in place. I only have one hard drive though, so it makes no difference to me.

    Re: Antec Three Hundred

With regards to cabling, try a 45 degree angle SATA cable.
