HEXUS.social proposal - 13th December somewhere in the London area

We'll be setting off from an as yet un-named location in London. I presume it will be a park or area large enough to hold the ~200 cars partaking in the foolish adventure.

Fancy dress will be optional for the spectators, I think we are dressing up though!

So if you want a laugh, I'll probably get landed with the Elf suite! Failing that, it'll be pith helmets and safari suits.

This is one meet I can say with a not of certainty: I will be there!!

Funnily enough, I'll be in London that day.
I'm going to see Soulwax and Erol Alkan on the 12th (coincidentally my 21st ) But my current plans are just to keep partying til the earliest bus home (should be a fun 10hour bus ride home) so I probably can't come.

It will be a marvellous day full of car fumes, last minute frantic fettling, music, speeches and fun. The actual program for the day will be sent nearer the time, but the hanger doors will open at 9am, with festivities starting at 10am, there will be a parade lap of the "Bottom Gear" test track at 1pm before we wave the stupid and the brave off to Cameroon.

Dunsfold Park is about 1hr 15 mins South West of London, about 9 miles from Guildford, proper directions to follow nearer the time.

So stick that petrolhead puppy into your diaries, get excited and think about which corner you want named after your team...

Mainly a morning event, although it may take several hours to... erm... "persuade" all the ageing vehicles to actually leave the venue

Plus as I doubt I will EVER get tickets for the 'undisclosed' show that is filmed there, it would be nice to see it in real life
