Its not the connection speed of the wireless - router, its the throughput that matters.
And for the record, my downstairs HTPC is connected @ 270mbps wireless.
Have a look through the reviews and info on SmallNetBuilder, it should give you all the info.

How about a Linksys WRT320N for £48 delivered? It has some really good reviews

That's why I quoted the reviews...my mate uses it and has never had any issues. Overall, I would rather go for Linksys or Netger rather than DLink. For starters, both Linsys and Netgear run Linux stacks which are quite robust and has lot of 3rd party support and mods available.
and that's why im never buying d-link again
