TBH the prices look pretty good until you remember that you have to add 17.5% VAT on the total, ie item and delivery cost. I am not a maths genius but it makes the E8400 roughly £143 delivered and the Geil Ram £42 delivered. If you shop around you can find them for a fair bit cheaper than that.

I knew there was a catch - thanks. Had to go and read the small print.

Yes I would imagine quite a few have ended up paying quite a bit more than they expected when they pressed "but it now". Be nice prices if VAT was included though ...

Be very careful with these guys! I had ordered some Patriot RAM which they told me was in stock. The RAM also showed "in stock" on their website, and guess what?
I paid for next day delivery, parcel never came. I waited 4 days, still no parcel!
I phoned them and they told me there had been a mix up.
I asked them for a tracking number, and guess what? They couldn't give me a tracking number!!!
Right... ok then... "when will i be getting my RAM?", "wait, we will get back to you in a few minutes and find out what is happening with the supplier." they told me! After saying the item was in stock??
One hour later, i get a phone call from them... we don't know what is happening with your RAM it could be here in 7 days!!!(or more if i'm lucky Huh?)
    Bottom line? CON-MEN! Steer clear.
Now i'm gonna get my refund

    Good on you.

I had ordered an item less than £20 from them too on the 1st of June. I paid for Recorded Delivery for it to save on postage. The week passed. I checked my status and it was saying my order had been "printed". F knows what that is but anyway I waited. I even emailed after the first week asking where is my item. It was in stock I had emailed and they said it was in stock. The email I received was so cheeky saying it's my fault for using Recorded Delivery instead of paying £8 next day delivery on an item which weighs less than a hard drive or cd/drive. They hadn't even dispatched it yet what has the delivery option got to do with it...
Anyways I emailed them each day at 8am asking to cancel my order. Four emails went ignored so I decided to dispute with them in Paypal. They didn't bat an eyelid at that either. Only after 10 days of nothing and one 5 minute phone call on a 10p/min phone line (of which 4 and a 1/2 minutes was on hold listening to crappy music) I managed to get my order cancelled and refunded.

10 bloody days and they couldn't be arsed to even send the item out. Either they lie about their stock and gladly take our money or they just are too lazy to even post things.

    Bunch of rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish.

Well tbh you can try and take a chance with them if you doubt our claims. But I'd never be negative about a company unless it's really bad. Who knows you could make it case #3 and give our "Boycott AWD-IT" advice some more solid backing

Oh yes their stock tallies are misleading too. The Antec 1200 shows as in-stock when you visit the produt page but when you email them it's on pre-order. Apparently we are meant to view the product from the search page to see the real stock status... They still haven't changed it after I've emailed them. Based in Staffordshire like OcUK are. It must be a retailer bad spot.

Re: Anyone used AWD-IT (HDMI Ltd) shop on Ebay?

I'm in the process of trying to get an order (via the website) cancelled with them now.

So far I wouldn't recommend them.

I ordered an 'in stock' item on Friday evening that was required for Tuesday/Wednesday of this week.

Emailed them on Monday asking if item had shipped to no response.

Account section on website indicated order was "printed", whatever that means.

Having still had no reply by Tuesday evening, I emailed them again to cancel the order as the chances of my receiving it by Wednesday were looking slim.
Their lack of communication further aided my decision to take my business elsewhere.

On Wednesday morning they replied, telling me that the item would be dispatched shortly, to be with me "tomorrow" (Thursday), thereby ignoring my request.

Unsuprisingly nothing arrived in the mail today, so I've again emailed them to re-state my desire to have the order cancelled.
Let's see what happens this time...

    --------------------

Edit - Order successfully cancelled and refunded but only after calling.
It seems as though this is the way to go (although I wouldn't use them again) as contact by email seems pointless, going by my experience.

    Keep us posted matey.
I am waiting for my refund to be credited back to my card. Demand a refund notification email from them. That way, if they mess you about then you get the BIG BOYS(Bank) to get the money from them with the proof of refund demand notification which they(AWD-IT) haven't honoured...
    Hope all goes well

    Aye Aye!

nightic you should phone up and cancel the order. It's not like you'll be on there for long what with the little customer base they may have who probably aren't phoning up
The line is probably free all day.

It's the only way they cancelled my order after 4 days of emailing.

Yep, intend to do that tomorrow, I just hope the item doesn't show up in the post first
