If you're here in an official capacity it might be best to contact a Hexus forum mod/admin to get a custom title.

might be a bit tricky to get some attention too since you need a minimum number of posts before you can PM hehe

Ah with No PM that will be tricky then I have included my msn handle in my profile and can be contacted via msn for any queries. I am also in contact with Hexus in an official capacity.

Picking up on what someone said regarding phone costs, we have taken this onboard and should be changing to a local rate number very shortly.

I see that you are based in stafford. Do you have the option for locals to pick up items from you, as £15 postage on a graphics card is a bit steep when I'm only between Stafford and Rugeley myself?

Re: Anyone used AWD-IT (HDMI Ltd) shop on Ebay?

I also had a very bad experiance with these guys.

Bought some Corsair Dominator a while back from them, waited 10 days for it to arrive and when it did it was faulty which of course can happen so I called them ro arrange an RMA which i sent back to them that day....

A week passes with nothing so I call them to find out whats happening "we are waiting for more stock" will be sent out tomorrow. 6 days later STILL nothing so called them again (had to try at least 3 times because everytime I got through after queuing for 10-15 mins the some one picked up the phone and hung it straight up again!!! )

The next day my "replacement" ram turned up but was faulty again, one stick would not work. Called them up to arrange for it to be returned and a refund sent as i'll get it elsewhere and was advised as soon as it was received a refund would be processed.

A week later I had to raise a Paypal dispute and phone them repeatedly and I finally got a refund a couple of days later. Not once did I get an apology and when I called for the last time to chase the refund the guy actually made out like I was being awkward by opening a Paypal Dispute.

Bunch of bloody cowboys who seriously need a lesson in customer service

Exactly who are the staff to complain about us when the problem is on their end...
The more and more I hear the less and less AWD-IT apologies seem have effect. He hasn't posted in 5 days anyway so it looks like it was all for show.

Re: Anyone used AWD-IT (HDMI Ltd) shop on Ebay?

Cheers for the heads up ladies

Was close to buying a 4870 from there site as they 'have stock'.

Will put this company on my blacklist even though the 'supposed' AWD-IT restored some faith it seems he has gone cold...

It's the heads up from hexus members that can save alot of hassle - Cheers.

Re: Anyone used AWD-IT (HDMI Ltd) shop on Ebay?

    Hi there.

I'm sorry I haven't replied, I have a lot of other work to do, and can't check forums as much as I'd like to.

I'll be happy to look into any problems anybody might be having with our company, even if I can't get to you right away.

    sbmongoose:
At the moment we are internet based only and don't have a shop or collection point. It is one of our long term aims to set up at least a collection point, but this will be some way off, so at the moment, we can only deliver orders.

    pc_geek:
We stock thousands of products and although we try to have a stock system that is as accurate as possible, the nature of the business means that it can be incorrect on rare occaision. If this is the case, then we can offer a similar or superior/upgraded alternative on most items, most of the time.

    M C STORM:
I'd have to look into your order to find out the specifics, but returns are usually processed within 5 working days (a lot faster than some other UK IT retailers I could mention). If you want to send me the info, I'll happily check the details for you.

Guys, if you are willing to give us a chance, I'll do whatever I can to help you out.

Re: Anyone used AWD-IT (HDMI Ltd) shop on Ebay?

Bought a few items from AWD-IT, delivery was fine, items pretty much as was expected (got a slightly older model hard drive than was ordered - but no major problem).

    Good prices. Reasonable postage costs.

    Off website though, not Ebay.

Re: Anyone used AWD-IT (HDMI Ltd) shop on Ebay?

Hello guys. I just tried to open the awd-it website and it wasnt coming up, so I googled it to check if someone posted about the store being down and found this thread. I couldnt help but register and post since my experience with these guys have been superb. By the way, their website is back up now, but anyway I will post.

I ordered an XFX 8800gts g92 alpha dog XXX version on May from these guys at an incredible price. The price was so good that I thought I was being scammed. Believe me, I am one of those guys that checks many places for prices, and can tell you that know plenty of places to check regarding PC parts being an enthusiast myself. I ordered it around noon, paid for next day delivery, and next morning it was at my place. I wasn't counting for it to be delivered the very next day, I was 'lucky' I was sick that day and got very surprised when the card arrived!

I understand some people might have problems with the store, but my experience was so perfect I couldnt help but post. Im looking for a 4870 now and will buy from them for sure.

Good luck guys with your items.

I so wish i found this thread last week.

Currently getting my credit card company to get my money back.

    Your a con artist Alex

I'm not going to make any excuses
..... thats because you can't. Infact you can't even justify taking peoples money without having the goods.

I'll be contacting Protx to ensure they don't deal with you if i can. The sooner muppets like you fall of the face of the planet, the better.

Lol, not suprised really that even after viewing this thread they haven't learnt. Hope you get your money back Biz which I'm pretty sure you will.
I'll give them an email too about my experience. Thanks for pointing Protx out I would have never bothered to look into this otherwise.
