    Re: Marcel - 3XS X58 Core I7 Build

    1- Can I add an additional (6th):-

    LN9036
120mm AK-183-L2B Akasa Amber Case Fan, 3 Pin, 2 Ball Bearing , Ultra Quiet and Long life

to be installed at the side of the case (left side panel).
Question is would this fan block the larger graphics cards?

    2 - You have ordered 2 x 80Gb drive (1 x 300Gb drive removed/replaced by 2nd 80gb) and 1 x 1000Gb how would you like the drives configured and are there any partitions needed?

In response to your e-mail, the 80GB SSD drive should be the system drive with Windows (shudders) Vista 64bit ultimate.
    No RAID array required.
As for partitions I’ll phone up Monday and hopefully speak to you Philip.
Any feedback from users is welcome, as I’m very new to partitioning.

Read somewhere that separating the OS, Data and Applications is a good idea. Multi-boot setup also sounds very interesting.

3 - Can you please make sure that the latest bios, (P6T Deluxe) 1403 Bios are put on the motherboard.

Why not put the smaller 80Gb Drive as your system drive and use the larger drivers for other stuff?

    Re: Marcel - 3XS X58 Core I7 Build

My apologies to the engineer(s) who is/are building the PC, for the choice of a non-removable motherboard tray case and all the fans.

Can one PCI-E power connector be made available towards the first PCI-E slot, so that I can install my 7900GTO straight away, thank you in advance.

Pictures are looking good. If more pictures are getting made can we please have one for the back plate to see the cabling. And one showing the 6th fans (side panel) cabling.

Philipp can you please post results (when available) of the overclock achieved on this build, along with temps (ambient) and CPU.
