What is the chance that the 2.0 ports on the motherboard are bad? I just got a new wiring harness from my case manufacturer and thats not the problem. I'm thinking that the board is bad. Fatality AN9 32X sli

I'm having exactly the same problem right now with the AN8 Ultra

Any clues? Does not matter what drivers i install, everytime i plug a USB2 in i get the "you do not have any Hi Speed USB ports"

No,..I'm still without USB 2.0 support. Very frustrating buying and building new system that has archaic usb ,....

unfortunately you'll find similar posts to this about all sorts (different mfrs/chipsets) of mobos on forums across the internet e.g. http://forums.anandtech.com/messagev...yword1=usb+2.0

It's got to be something to do with Windows, drivers, IRQs etc.
