BIOS 17 works great! The only problem I had was downloading the Realtek sound driver for Vista. The link doesn't work for me.

I'm waiting for a new BIOS 18 to support for E8600 or new stepping CPU. Anyone know when they release?

Re: **Official ABIT IP-35 Pro Review/Overclock/Guide Thread**

I've installed BIOS 17 on my IP-35Pro and I've noticed that the CPU temps are somewhat higher than they used to be, and no longer coincide with what I see in Core Temp or Rivatuner, which are reading the same.

At idle, my E6600 (stock clock) is now running at 35c according to uGuru (and in the BIOS), but according to CoreTemp and RivaTuner its more like 28 to 30c (which it was before).

    Is this a known issue?
Secondly, does anyone know where to get older versions of the uGuru app?

    Mut.

    Hi Everyone,

I'd give my leftnut for this answer
I have an Abit IP35 Pro
    Q6600 Go
    OCZ2910664GK Platinum 1066 DDR2
    Razor AC-1
    2x 3870 ATI
    2x WD 640 Raid 1
    Thermaltake tough power 700W
    Zelman 9500 CPU fan
I would like to know what would be good overclock settings, I don't have to be extream just a nice overclock. I have been looking everywhere for answers but the memory has been a real thorn since it's not recommended.
Thanx, TwoLeft hopefully only one if I get an answer

Re: **Official ABIT IP-35 Pro Review/Overclock/Guide Thread**

all systems (even those with supposedly exactly the same components) are different so people can only point you in a direction & then you have to do the testing yourself.

the obvious potential problems are your RAM (so stick it on 1:1 until you get your CPU overclock stable & then come back & tweak the RAM settings) & heat.
I would probably settle for 3.2-3.4GHz if I was you as unless you have very good cooling around the PWM it won't take too kindly to 3.6GHz+ 24/7.

    Thanx, BUFF
I should have mentioned I'm a noob when it comes to proper number settings. I never attempted and only started reading about it. Approximate number settings for memory and Cpu would give me a nice start.
    Thanx once again,

Re: **Official ABIT IP-35 Pro Review/Overclock/Guide Thread**

Im having a temp reading issue with my ip35 pro and a newly installed q9400. I updated to 17 bios but my cpu reading in bios is wrong, its reading 115 to 195 c. The core temps and my ir temp gauge read about 30 c. I put in my old 2180 and the cpu temp reading in the bios works correctly. Any ideas?
