The double boot problem is in the past. Appears as if the new HD3870 solved it.

I have the same problem but i can't seem to get any display as well, i've rmaed my old board and still have the same problem on my new board, i think it might due to a faulty gfx card

all P35 mobos will do it under certain circumstances as it's a chipset characteristic.
I would personally take an IP35 over a P35-DS3 every time.
