IP35 pro 8.7 fault code

Just started to get the above code tried unpluging power conectors and reconecting but still the same,tried clearing the cmos but no joy
If psu (Hyper 580 type R modular)isfaulty is thereanyway to test\check it

Update now it goes straight to 8.7 as soon as power is switched on after clearing cmos

8.7. is usually related to the ATX12V1 connection/rail

So faulty psu then anyway to test or if i swap psu and okay then its the psu

8.7 can also be a faulty regulator on the board, all you can really do is try a better PSU, if the problem persists, then its probably RMA time.

Hi all
A bit of an update swapped psu's over and my pc booted and ran fine swapped back same fault tried this 2 more times with the same result, so i assume it's safe to say that the psu is faulty

Just checked 11 days outside the warranty period looks like a new one then anyone recommend a new psu ?

Fortron, PCP&C, & Silverstone are a few good ones that come to mind. 600 to 700 watts should suit you well.
