    abit in9 32x max rebooting

Hello i have a abit in932xmax what i did was flash the bios to the 15 version..well was trying but then the power went out..

Now all it does is boot to the phoenix screen…then asks for a floppy..i put the recover flash in through autoexec.bat it reads it a bit then reboots…like its trying to load dos,i see that screen then just reboots....is there a way to stop it rebooting so i can flash it from dos?

    Any help would be great…….thanks

Check you bios setting in the uguru panel. You maybe have a fan not working (watercooling?) without the warning beep enable, but only with shutdown enable. Check also the temperature uguru settings.

and clear CMOS using the back panel switch (clear it with AC unplugged)

mmm, you are aware that abit stopped making mobos at the end of last year & is running a skeleton support for existing mobos?
That means that e.g. they don't have a representative on this forum anymore.

Yeah, ABit officially ceased to exist on Jan 1st 2009, and now only offer barebone support for warranties.
