IX38 QuadGT & Ati 5xxxx series

Hi All,

Have quick question, my ati 3870x2 is showing its age, i am looking to upgrade.
I am thinking of either ati 5850 or 5870.

Bios to fix ati 4890x2 cards not working on these boards has never been released.
Will this board work with 5850 or 5870, or is this issue only related to 4890x2 series?

There's no such card as the 4890X2 so I think you're slightly mistaken :\.

I'm fairly sure a 5850 or a 5870 will work fine in that board.

You are correct, my bad typo i meant 4870 x 2
