tbo I think the wording of the report I got was badly translated. There will be a bios update to fix the issue. It is currently being developed but is not stable to use yet.

Sean from what I've gathered there will be a open multiplier on beta4 if all goes according to plan. Beta3 never made it out of the door due to ram incompatibilities apparently.

You're right, I received an updated tech report on friday. Beta 3 was to unstable to use. As soon as I receive the next report I will let you all know, hopefully it will include the beta4 bios.

just bought this mobo. I'm going to write review for the biggest russian community. I found the real issue for overclockers: my mobo has 1.0 bios and there are no way to set high voltage for HT(max 1.4v), CPU VTT and NB. The main problem here - you can't hit high FSB due to the low HT voltage. I'm able to hit only 400MHz ;( I can't even jump 680i strap - more than 425MHz.

I think it's bios issue. If you try to set 450MHz fsb in Guru - you will see that max and low values for HT, CPU VTT and NB - changed automatically. but there ase no way to choose higier values ;( on Asus 680i boards I was able to hit 500MHz easily with 1.52v HT voltage... so... can Abit unlock voltages? maybe in new bios?

maybe someone already has beta bios with higher voltages? I'll postpone my review and will wait for new bios since it's really bad that this great mobo can't hit high FSB all we need - unlocked voltages, only in this case IN9 will be able to win 'great 680i mobo battle'.
