    Scam?

This is a bit weird, and I was wondering if anyone else has had one of the emails?

    Dear Apple Store Customer,

Thank you for shopping at the Apple Store.

We are pleased to report that your Apple Store order is ready to be delivered,
pending confirmation of your address. Kindly reply to this email or call the Apple Store on free phone 0800 039 10 10 (option 2) to confirm the shipping address you provided when placing the order on the Apple Store.

Unfortunately, if we do not hear from you in the next two days, your order will be

    returned to Apple.

Thank you for taking the time to help us.

    Kind regards,

    The Apple Store
Why do they need to confirm my address? I've ordered several times from the apple store, and why "dear apple store customer", rather than my name which is how they've always addressed me in the past?

The telephone number is definately apple though..

Have you checked the source of the email. and that it is not part of some phishing scam. I too think it would be very odd if apple requested your address details through email...email IMO is very insecure and prone to fraud. I'd give the apple store helpline a ring if I were u, its a freephone number anyway.

EDIT: Yup, the number on the email is correct, just checked it 0800 039 1010. They probably have so many people ordering tiger at the moment, perhaps they cant keep up! lol
