yay!!
Good stuff! They are nice aren't they?
Not around too often!
Oh yes ! Mananged to crash it a few times already Apart from that I'm just trying to get used to the differences.
One thing I want to do is get my email/contacts/calender from outlook 2003 over to my mac how should I do this? I've looked at importing options in mail/entourage and there isnt an obvious option??
You will have to export the contacts as vcards, but after a look around the web trying to do the same stuff myself you can't import the outlook stuff in the proprietary file format onto the mac! If you have synced the calender on a phone or pda you could sync it to the mac using isync but thats about it as far as I know. Then again one of the more experienced mac users may know a way!

Thats a bit poor
I've sync'd my mobile but its only got half my contacts on it
I've had a thought if I export everything to say thunderbird then install that on my mac maybe I could export things to mail??
Any idea if this would work?
Could be done, also may be worth searching some of the help sites in the sticky in this area for scripts or programs that could do it.

Had a play and I can get the contacts across with thunderbird but not the emails or the calender
Just found a program called outlook 2 mac which seems to fit the bill !
Had to pay $10 for the working version but I don't mind supporting apps like this
Took some pics and uploaded them for any one who wants to see them.

The Outlook2mac worked a treat, a bit dissapointing that I had to buy it for something that should be very simple to do, and seeing as the switching is easy rubbish on the apple site something they should have thought about and included in osx
My first bad thing about the pb, the only other niggles is that I find Itunes and Iphoto a bit basic. I had my photo's perfectly ordered in folders but iphoto seems to ignore them same with mp3's with itunes
You don't have to let iTunes rearrange your library (prolly too late now).
How do I get around it?
Just got my new mouse and took some shots of the pb in its place on my desk.
The mouse looks ace the action is a bit different to my logitech and my intellimouse but I still like it.
Looks spot on Gordy.
Nice monitor as well
I want one of those dell keyboards to compliment my 2001fp as well, where did you pick yours up ?
I think I might just give in and buy one for about £20 inc postage off ebay.
