    My iMac was early. In fact, my iMac was about a week and a half before schedule. The estimated delivery dates on the apple site are BS. As soon as you get some form of tracking number, its going between Ireland and the UK.

    the MacBooks come in direct from China currently, hence the slightly longer shipping times.

    i was thinking of cancelling mine and waiting for the intel core 2 duo, but then i couldnt be asked as i want it now

    I don't think the CoreDuo2s will be in macbooks any time soon.....
    heat is one issue.

    I also reckon they will run the macbooks for a while one the coreduo after the macbook pro gets the coreduo2, there is very little cpu power differentiating the consumer/pro models currently, I think Apple will want to address that.

    But from what I hear, the Duo2s are cooler running than the present. which would make sense..

    yes I agree about putting it in the MBpro's first, as yes, theres very little difference.

    I would recon on them sticking core duos into the mbp's as soon as they are out and keeping the macbooks as is for a while.
