anyone worked out why the black is £130 (ish) more than white when the only difference is an 80GB instead of a 60GB

it seems a bit daft to me!!!

the black one with show the scratches to buggery anyway - heathens - apple white all the way!!!

Those are beautiful! Are the black ones really that much more for the colour? You can spec a white up with 1gb and an 80gb hdd for £1002.

Yep, again, pay more for the (special) apple ontop of the already special Apple. I suppose it gives viewable bragging rites that you have the top spec macbook, rather than a cheaper white one.

I donno if I should wait to raise +cash and get a pro or dish out on the best macbook..
Trouble is i do value graphics, espec now windows games are playable through bootcmp. Need to see just how the intel 950 copes with windows and games. (ie Oblivion!)

Black one looks nice but the £130 fee is silly. I'm concerned that the keyboard looks wierd on them whats with that?

Will love to have a play on one soon.

The price difference is because its black occurding to Regent Street. The keyboard looks cheap from my 2 minutes of playing yesterday but its nice to type on (unlike most cheap laptops).

Even if you want it for just XP its cheaper than anything else by about £400 at the moment.

Intel iMac 17incher:
£817.80
(£696.00 ex VAT)

I will probably have to go to the library next year to order my nice macbook then - as will be living out then!

Ian

next time i'm in birmingham i'll have to pop by the apple shop to take a look!

For those all interested, before checking out you can use this promo code for £27 off £450+
P39AJYZZD9 or SSPUV9U97W for £23 off; however word of warning i couldn't get either of these to work, but that could be because I am on the education site
