    Lilt : Amazing little app!

I discovered a little app called lilt the other day
    http://www.jonn8.com/lilt/

It allows you to use the inbuilt sensors in the hard disc and the sensors for the backlit keyboard for all kinds of things.

Basically imagine using your hand to wave over the light sensors to load and app or doing anything as you could tie it to an applescript that maybe runs a backup!

Its great I had a few issues with it, but having spoken to the author I'm certain is down to the hardware sensors.

I use it to load mail or switch to mail as well as address book by holding my hand over my mbp's speakers

    Great init

I had my sister , and cousin round last week with their boyfriends . I got the macbook pro out to shows some pictures to them. After showing them the pics I showed of this app and the iSight. They were playing for ages giggling away.

You can't imagine a pc laptop doing that.

EH? This is a HARDWARE feature.... It's no more difficult to program something like this on a PC than on a mac. It just so happens that Apple have decided to fit the particular sensors to their laptop.

So, what you mean is, "puts thousands of 3rd party PC hardware manufacturers to shame". Well, perhaps, yes. Or perhaps its just a gimmick which, whilst neat, no-one would be likely to pay for when they had the choice.

And that is why apple laptops are better than pc ones, the do include the little things that make things just that little bit better.
