It and the contents of my garage (including a Suzuki Intruder 125) were the focus of a house fire. Its built onto the side of the house and wrecked the whole place. Xmas 05.

Pah, falling off? Only if you ride like a spanner
Daves got a point there.
Plus its good to have war stories.
Well I passed my CBT last year and will be getting a 125 soon ish does that count?
Yup, you'll soon be in the club, Aussie.
Diesel is a little more scarce down country lanes, where mud, leeves and cow dung become a factor. But because of thier colouring (and smells) its easy to avoid.
Biker 'babe' here can you not tell from my 'user -name' ?
Bikers rant - why when you have such a great ride, is there always something to spoil it at the end? Be it the weather, traffic, general muppets in metal boxes, or as I found today, a screw in the rear tyre. Bugger, one new tyre required... My bike hates me having any money in the bank. That, and one of the front forks has started leaking. Oh the fun....
i was thinking of doing my cbt when i get rid of my car, can get a 125 then for a few months, sell it and loose no or little money before geting something... nice
Always a good idea Russ.
Dave, its called sod's law.
Kickstar1, not really. Unless you hail from the pre-60's era of biking..
another one here.
got a trusty old NTV650 here, its not the most entertaining of bikes but it'll move and not break down.
missing building old brit bikes with my dad now i'm at uni though
Pirates = Win.
The Fazer is an FZ6.. I used to commute 120 miles a day... Adored the RSV.. Hated the 20mpg, filling up every day
, £140 on a back tyre every 8 weeks! (average 4k out of the back tyre!) and £270 servicing every 6k! so chopped it in for a brand new FZ6.. Biggest mistake of my life! 6 months later i'm doing an 80 mile a day commute in the car and missing the weekend thrill of the v-twin!!
Nah.. she's still got the VFR.. She's thinking of selling though, dosnt get enough time to ride..
yeah.. rode a friends '03 (the last of the carb'd) back to back against mine... . the only real difference is the power delivery, on the carb'd, it seemed to be a lot stronger mid-range but seemed strangled at the top end, whereas mines a bit fluffy in the mid, but is a lot stronger at the top end... its down to the engine being based on the new R6, just de-tuned with new cams and re-mapped ecu...
