4 years ago I was driving a BMW Mini and an ageing Land Rover Ninety... Now I sadly no longer have the Ninety, and I've swapped the Mini for a Nissan Vanette Cargo, which despite having 58000 "round town" miles on it, (over here you can only drive in one direction for an hour at most before you get wet), it's pretty nice to drive and you can fit everything in it, and then some

Isn't that the van version of one of Britain's slowest accelerating cars? I'm sure it was that, it took about 28 seconds to get to 60 or something dire.

I didn't know you didn't hvae the landy anymore ;( Do you just drive work cars now?

I love my sh1t heap cause most of it is held together using ducktape, the cd player/radio speaks japaneese whenever I press a button, the only FM station it picks up is radio 2, and the cd player skips more than it plays, along with it being unwilling to eject anything I put in there!

Also the interior is shocking, im suprised i havnt contracted aids yet!

but.... although its just past the 125k mark, it starts first time, the 4 wheel drive system still works, and it still goes like stink

Heh, yeah the Serena. You could always stick an SR20DET in them though.

1.2 L reg Renault Clio! 3 door RN ( it's got a sunroof, tinted windows and everyfink )

I love it because it's my first car! and he looks so cute! he has a little bit of rust on the wheel arch, and a couple of dints here and there... the paintwork is a bit patchy in places but that adds to the appeal ( plus he's going to have a few more dints when i've finished with him ) his bumpers are a nice shade of grey instead of black now.... well he is old I suppose! and he's got a dodgy looking seat pattern which will be replaced wth dodgier seat covers ( furry cowprint..... hey! well it's better than pink! )

My favourite reason for loving it?

    The fiasco that replaced it.

Hehe, Im gonna take some pics of the Rover tonight then.... but I raised its value by at least £2.50 by getting it washed last week.
Both of us looked at it afterwards and decided it wasnt half bad after all. Plus it did get us to North Wales and back successfully this weekend....

Sadly it only has just over 4wks left to live - thats when the MOT runs out and just by looking at last years advisory notes its gonna fail, in a BIG way!!

BTW I absolutely cannot believe that an MOT is now £50! Thats a lot of money... if you've then got to fork out for repairs.

It has the advantage of having nowt in the back, so it's not quite that bad Plus I don't pay for the Diesel so I drive it like you got to in order to make it do anything sensibly

I turned the Landy into 17.5 grams of platinum (ostensibly because running a house and a 25mpg 2.5 Turbo Diesel with holes in it are a bit incompatible )I'd have another one yesterday if I could afford it....

I get no end of grief about my poor Ignis Sport..not that anyone actually knows anything about them or even what it is most the time.

I love the way it looks and more importantly how it drives. Like a natural progression from my old metro gta which i loved even more than the ignis haha.

I challenge anyone who enjoys driving not to like it.

The thing I don't like about the Ignis is how tall they are for little cars, much like little fiats.
