Yeah, i kept saying mazda to him, and although he looked at mazda3/6 he didnt test drive either of them, which i think is a shame, for educational perperous if nothing else.


However, he has now alomost certainly found a car hes going to buy.

The test drive of the 1.9L audi when poorly, and he hated the engine. however he then went out in a 2.0L A4 they also had there and liked it a lot more.
- He didnt but that one, becuase it was grey, but has found one at another dealership that he has reserved for a test drive and is planning to buy assuming there no glaring problems with it. I beleave its about 18months old, with 9K on the clock for a £11,500 ish.

Then the only issue to sort out is how he can play MDs (or possably MP3s) in it.
- Apprently the post2005 A4's have a non-stadard fixed headunit issue.

Thats really cheap for an A4 that's under 2 years old, make sure to give it a good look over.

Yeah i was supprised.
- I havnt actaully heard from him since he went to go and see it so i dont know. But he's been buying/selling cars all his life and is pritty carefull in almost everything he does anyway (hence this whole thing taking this long really) so id be suppised he bought a lemon.

Im going home this weekend, so well see what she looks like eh!

An Audi A4 Avant would seem to fit the bill?

Pity he didn't like the Mazdas. I'm a major Mazda fan at the mo, heartily recommend them.

The only thing I don't like about the 6 is it's a little noisy (road noise) but the stereo hides that

We bought one 18 months or so back and we were recently thinking of upgrading a little bit. After having a look at BMW/Audi/Mercs etc. @ 15k we're sticking with the 6. Nothing really justified the expense of upgrading. All we'd have got is some prestige, but we've decided instead to buy a second half decent (girly ) car rather than share one with a nice badge.

The 6 is due a refresh in the Autumn I think, should be interesting.
