No they don't make them in 60/r15, and changing the wheel diameter is not a good idea, that extra inch of diameter can make quite the difference to speedo readings etc, it's also illegal to change it by more than a certain percentage I believe

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html for working out changes in tyre sizes.

I know a mobile tyre fitter personally, not sure he'll travel to Surrey (he's based near Ashford, Kent) but he can't be beaten on price.

I can get prices for you if you're at all interested although I think he's on holiday for two weeks from tomorrow.

I have Khumo Ecsta GT's (I think they are GT's) They are like concrete when cold but when warm good god do they stick like glue. They supposedley wear fast as they are soft but they have lasted ages on my car and I drive like a bit of a loon from time to time.

If they wear good enough for BMW to spec for the E36 M3 they are good enough for my 1.8 Focus. Best bit is they are cheaper than the Michelins and Pirellis, I had P Zero Nero's on the front before and they were no way near as good and far more expensive.

Toyo Proxes without a doubt if they come in your size. Simply a superb tyre that has ooodles of grip that resists deformation well in extremis.

Eagle F1s are very good but they don't last, particularly if you have a powerful FWD car without traction control.

Was being sarcastic, its not illegal i dont think, and it barley affects the already inaccurate speed o.

I run 45 profile instead of 55 and its a few mph out..
