New Car!!!!

HI all i have a bit of a heavy right foot and i want somthing thats quite nippy.... if anyone can tell me a good car whats a 1.2 and good for modding let me know...i have a years driving experence if it helps lol soooo give me a shout if u know a good car..

I cant speak for 'modding' but a 1.3 toyota starlet is a decent start, and if youre canny with it, you might even convince someone its a turbo. You dont mention budget, but the new turbo 1.2 in the clio/twingo is supposed to be fairly ok

The older fiesta 1.25s are quite nippy. I had a Suzuki Ignis Sport about a year after i got my licence. Insurance isn't too bad and its awesome for a little'un.

First car was a rover 114 GTa ..that was good

Dont bother there is no 1.2 out there that is anywhere near fast.

Why have you specified a 1.2? Is that your expected insurance/value threshold?

When I had a 1.2 Corsa, I always found it very very gutless. That said a mate of mine has a 53 reg 1.2 SXI 16V Corsa and runs really well, quite a nippy little motor.

Qouted for the truth, I drove one once a few years back and it was quite a nippy little motor, would get to 70 mph quite nicely and cruise at 85/90 without too much effort
